Big Sean delivers the first track from his new project coming called Dark Sky Paradise. “Blessings” features Drake and Kanye West, and is produced Vnlyz. Sean seems to have finally got the idea of having a complete project. He has been slowing transitioning to this storm theme releasing “Paradise” with MikeWillMadeIt. It’s actually a simple formula for Big Sean; use his witty lines and delivery variations on a beefy instrumental. This formula is pure gold. Not convinced? Go see “10 2 10”, “1st Quarter”, “4th Quarter” and even Drake’s “All Me”, which was produced by Big Sean’s in-house producer. Drake does a great job on this song, which is almost getting ridiculous. Like LeBron James, his “off-days” are still a whole lot better than most. Kanye finishes the song off, which gives it a classic feel. We hope for Sean’s sake this song takes off. Through-in-through, it is a very tough song. Kudos to Vnlyz for providing the sound backdrop.
Dark Sky Paradise is due February 24th.
