Nico Xu releases a new project called “Devils Advocate“. The mixtape consist of portions of his childhood told through stories. Nico has a very distinct sound – something that slightly resembles A$AP Rocky. There is only 12 tracks on the mixtape. Listen to it below.
Casey Veggies drops a new track called “Anything Goes” produced by The Futuristiks. This appears Veggies best material he has released in a while as he prepares to release his album Peas & Carrots International. This track did not make the cut for the album. Listen to it below.
SZA, one of TDE’s recently signed artist, decides to take a final dip in water in her new video “Babylon”. The video is very cinematic and consist solely of slow-moving shots. The song itself is bass driven with voices filling the melody. SZA’s voice also adds to the overall production. Watch the video above. Look out for SZA new project Z coming April 8th.
For those who do not know, Rick Ross’s album, Mastermind became available for purchase on March 3rd. Big Sean is featured alongside Kanye West on the song “Sanctified”. Sean’s first did not make the final version for the album, but he did remain on the hook. Here, he releases his verse for the song. Kanye was given production credit for this song. Here is the first trailer teaser the up-coming movie ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’. The movie is the fourth installment in the Transformer’s series. It features an entirely new cast lead by Mark Wahlberg,as well as, new Autobots and Decepticons. Many viewers hoped for the series to continue and due to the large blockbuster sells it has. Big K.R.I.T. releases another song for what he calls, “Week Of K.R.I.T.”. The track today is entitled, “Conscious Effort Freestyle”. Over a smooth laid-back track, K.R.I.T. display his superior lyricism over other rappers. He raps, “What these labels signing for/ It’s hard to find it comical”. DJ Cassidy gathers Robin Thicke and UK pop-star Jessie J to combine on a fun dance track called “Calling All Hearts”. This extremely well shot video was shot by Director X. The video was mostly shot on a pink themed set with a platform. Robin and Jessie does not sound half bad on a song together either. Watch the video above.
Adam Reverie has been very consistent with the quality of his music and his message. Reverie newest release “Black Boy Out In Poverty” is a brilliant song. He creatively explains the works and methods of the music industry. Reverie even plays off the radio flow that so many artists have made a living off of. Listen to the song below.
Many may have expected something to come from the large amount of material CyHi The Prynce has released recently. However, I do not think anyone expected him to drop something so suddenly. Black Hystori Project is CyHi’s new work. The 18 track tape features that has very few features, so expect a lot of bars from the G.O.O.D Music lyricist. As Mic Taylor preps for the release of his new project #WhoHeMT, he drops a freestyle “Ill World”. Taylor’s story-telling is on full display as he explains the environment in Chicago. He raps “Diseased pockets, we got financial aids/ we needing FASFA” describing the struggles that so many youth in college deal with. Taylor is very creative lyrically. Listen to the song below.
